Just popping in here to list the three classes of take I’ve read in the first few days of the Iran incursion:
* it is intended to distract from the Files
* it is intended to usher in armageddon (which Saurez correctly identified that the military rhetoric is sourced to a single website)
* to crash the failing petrodollar (the currency analysis posts/articles out there are dense and require more understanding than I currently have on tap)
* to tie in with Venezuela and Cuba in leveraging China (Ukraine is relevant here as well)
* because the Iranians were trying to develop nuclear capabilities (this feels a bit contrived)
* because the Iranian regime was “evil” to its people (heheh David Frum and evil still being trotted out decades later is tacky)
* because Israel needs this to carry out some big Israel oriented world-order revamp that I cannot wrap my head around but does not seem to immediately be required to defend its existenceThere are probably many more any maybe I’ll come back and add them…
